Those Catholics living in the area and regularly participating in the liturgy are asked to register as members of the parish. Simply attending Mass does not make one a registered member. Registration is easy - contact the parish office at your convenience.

RCIA – CIC – Elementary (and St. Mary’s South) – Jr/Sr High School (Sacrament Prep) & Adults
 
Registration for R.E. classes will take place on Tuesday, August 4, for families that want to enroll in our R.E. program, from 11AM - 1PM and 5PM – 7:30PM in Hurtado Hall.
You must live in St. Mary’s boundaries or be registered in the church 3 months prior to registering for R.E. classes.

    * Registration Fees for Pre K-6 grade levels:     $60 – 1 child $90 – 2 children $120 – 3 or more children

    * Book/Supply Fee for Pre K-6 grade levels:     $20 per child

*Book Fee must be paid at time of registration.

 
Dates/Times for R.E. classes:

· K-6 grades will be held on Monday 5 – 6:15PM OR Tuesday 6 – 7:15PM.

· St. Mary’s South – following 9:00AM Mass.

We also offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd on a limited basis:

· Kindergarten – Mon. 4:00 -5:30PM

· 3-5 year olds - Wed. 9:15AM - 10:45AM,

· 3-5 year olds - Thurs. 9:15 – 10:45AM.

If your child will be preparing to receive the sacrament of Confession, Confirmation, or Eucharist this year, you must bring a copy of his/her Baptismal Certificate with you to registration. If your child (7rs old or older) is not baptized bring a copy of their BIRTH certificate

    * Junior and Senior High Sacramental Preparation will be on Mondays in Hurtado Hall beginning in September (Anthony Gleich – (480) 899-9187 x 121)

Registration for Sacramental Preparation for ages 12 to 18 years will take place on Tuesday, August 4, from 11AM - 1PM and 5PM – 7:30PM in Hurtado Hall AND May 21,  11AM – 1PM and 5PM – 7PM in Hurtado Hall. We need Birth Certificate for teens planning to receive all three Sacraments of Intimation, and Baptismal forms for anyone in need of Confirmation, First Communion or both.

Special Education: All children are welcome in the R.E. program. This year, besides classroom support and pull-out instruction, separate classes for children with special needs will be available. Please call Anne Marie Kresge at (480) 899-9187 to plan for accommodations or speak with her at registration.

We are in need of volunteer catechists and aides ready to live out their Baptismal call.
